Specifications

Brand: Rosewood

Full description

A hamster left in a cage all day gets a fraction of the space it would cover in the wild, and a run-about ball is one of the few ways to safely give it more ground to explore under supervision.

Rosewood's Glitter Hamster Ball is built to be shatter resistant, giving it more resilience than a basic plastic ball if it's knocked against furniture or a door frame during use. It's supplied nested in a space-saving display tray, and can also be displayed or stored hanging rather than sitting flat.

What isn't given. No diameter is stated, so we can't confirm it against a specific size of hamster or the doorways and gaps it will need to clear around your home — check the size in person or via the product image before assuming it fits your space.

Who it's for: hamster owners wanting supervised out-of-cage exercise time, using a ball that's more resilient to knocks than a basic unbranded version.

Rosewood Hamster Glitter Exercise Ball

Why we chose it

Shatter resistance is worth paying attention to on anything a hamster is going to be rolled around the house in, since a cracked ball is a hamster with an escape route. The glitter finish is just a nice-to-have, but the build quality underneath it is the actual reason to buy it.
