A pond doesn't have the luxury of a single-species tank, so a "general" pond food has to be balanced enough to suit whatever's actually swimming in it — koi, goldfish, orfe — rather than tuned to one species the way a specialist tropical food can be.

Pettex's General Pond Pellet declares protein at 27%, crude fat at 4.5%, crude fibre at 3.4% and ash at 6.5%, with spirulina added at 0.05% for colour. Beyond that declared analysis, no further ingredient breakdown has been supplied to us.
