Koi and ornamental pond fish are heavier feeders than goldfish, and a food built for them tends to run higher in protein and come in a larger, denser stick rather than the small floating pellet aimed at a lighter feeder.

Pets Choice's Carp Sticks are made from cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, meat and animal derivatives, fish and fish derivatives, minerals, oils and fats, and algae including spirulina at 0.25%. Protein is 30% and crude ash 6.6%, and it's a complete food for koi carp and ornamental fish. Like the range's pellets, it's a floating food designed to be non-clouding and highly digestible, with added stabilised vitamin C.
