A wet dog shaking itself dry indoors is a problem a bigger towel solves before it starts — the more of the coat a towel covers at once, the less water ends up flung across the room rather than absorbed.

This is Petkin's bath towel in an XL size. The makers have not supplied its dimensions, its material, or any washing instruction, so beyond the size name there is nothing further to describe.

• Petkin bath towel
• Size: XL
• Manufacturer part number 5691
• Single towel

What we don't know. No dimensions, weight or fabric have been supplied for this towel, so we cannot tell you how large "XL" actually is or what it is made from. If you need it to fit a specific dog or a specific washing machine load, that is genuinely unconfirmed information at the point of buying.

Who it's for: owners who dry a dog or cat after a bath or a wet walk and want the largest towel Petkin offer, rather than reaching for a bath towel from the airing cupboard.
