How to measure

Measure the bust (chest) at its widest point, just behind the front legs.
Measure the back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Compare with the figures below - the manufacturer recommends measuring the bust rather than going by weight.

Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures, transcribed exactly. Weight is given in Chinese catties (jin) as printed; 1 catty = 0.5 kg, so 1–3 catties is roughly 0.5–1.5 kg and 11–15 catties roughly 5.5–7.5 kg. The chart states: "The weight is for reference only. It is recommended to measure the bust. It is normal to have a 2-3cm error in manual measurement." If between sizes, size up.

Full description

Getting a jumper onto a cat is a negotiation, and most of them are lost at the leg holes. This one is described as two-legged clothing, meaning the front legs only. The cat's back half stays completely free, there is nothing to thread over a back foot, and the whole garment goes on in one movement while your cat is still deciding how it intends to feel about the situation.

The fabric is a plush fleece with a stretchy body, so it gives across the chest as the cat moves and does not pull tight when they stretch out flat.
