Material: a unique blend of nutritious ingredients
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

A nugget-shaped treat is built for beaks rather than mouths, small enough that a garden bird can take one in a single peck rather than having to break a larger piece apart first.

Peckish's Extra Goodness Nuggets are made with suet, peanuts and crushed mealworms according to Peckish's own description, sold as a pack of 50 nuggets, and are described as a complementary treat rather than a main feed.

On the ingredients. Peckish's own material describes this as "a unique blend of nutritious ingredients" without giving proportions for the suet, peanuts or mealworm — we can confirm what's in it, not how much of each.

Who it's for: anyone already feeding a main seed mix who wants a high-energy extra to scatter alongside it, rather than a first or only feed.

Why we chose it

Suet, peanuts and mealworm together cover most of what garden birds go for, and selling it as small nuggets means it works in feeders that a full fat ball wouldn't fit. It's a good complementary buy alongside a seed mix.
