Specifications

Brand: Peckish
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

Birds lose most of their overnight energy simply staying warm, so a feed that's ready and waiting first thing in the morning matters more than one topped up at random through the day.

Peckish's Extra Goodness Energy Balls contain wheat flour, peanuts, black sunflower seeds and beef tallow, with a colourant added, and are sold as a pack of 6 balls plus 6 free.

Peckish recommend putting food out at the start of the day

On the additive. Peckish list a colourant among the additives without naming which one — we can confirm one is used, not what it is.

Who it's for: anyone feeding multiple sites in the garden, since Peckish themselves recommend spreading feed across more than one spot to avoid overcrowding and droppings building up in one place.

Peckish Extra Goodness Energy Balls

Why we chose it

The 6-plus-6-free pack is simply good value for a like-for-like energy ball, and Peckish's own feeding advice about spacing out multiple feeding sites is genuinely useful rather than filler copy. Both were reasons enough to stock it.
