A cat's digestive health is easy to overlook until something goes wrong with it, which is presumably why Purina builds its ONE range around a named functional ingredient — chicory root, added here as a prebiotic — rather than leaving gut support as an unspecified claim.

Chicken makes up 17% of the recipe, including bone, meat and skin, alongside dried poultry protein, wheat (16%), corn, soya meal and wheat gluten. Dried chicory root is added at 2%, and the food includes a digest ingredient with added heat-treated Lactobacillus Delbrueckii and Fermentum powder at 0.025%.
