Full description
Cats do not read the word beef; owners have to read the composition for them. This recipe makes that useful by stating exactly how the heart, bone and offal are divided.
Nutriment Adult Cat Raw Beef Formula is a complete frozen raw food in a 500G pack. Beef heart makes up 60%, chicken with bone 30%, beef kidney 5% and beef liver 5%, with cold-pressed hemp oil and salmon oil. Bone content is 8-10%, while the recipe declares 100% meat, bone, offal and superfoods with 0% grain or filler. As-fed analysis gives moisture 66.2%, protein 17.1%, fat 12.6%, crude ash 2.8% and crude fibre 0.5%. Taurine is 879mg/kg, and no additives or preservatives are declared.

Who it's for: adult-cat owners wanting a complete raw beef-led recipe and who have freezer space, can defrost it in the fridge and will portion it from the manufacturer’s weight-based guide.

Why we chose it
The 60% beef-heart declaration is the deciding fact, backed by a full as-fed analysis and taurine figure. I chose it because both the diet status and frozen handling are explicit.
