A cat that's eaten a food happily for months can decide overnight that it no longer will, for reasons that have nothing to do with the food itself changing. A variety box doesn't fix that unpredictability, but it does mean you're not left holding eleven more pouches of the one thing today's cat has decided against.

This box holds 12 x 85g pouches across three pate recipes - chicken, salmon and turkey - each led by its named meat with chicken broth and minerals, and each grain-free. It's a complete food, so any one of the three can be a full meal on its own.

• 12 x 85g pouches across three recipes: chicken, salmon, turkey
• Chicken: 10.5% protein, 8.5% fat, 113Kcal per 100g
• Salmon: 10% protein, 9% fat, 124Kcal per 100g
• Turkey: 10.5% protein, 8% fat, 111Kcal per 100g
• Grain-free, complete food for adult cats

On the salmon recipe. It's the one recipe in this box that isn't chicken-led - salmon comes first on its own ingredient list, ahead of chicken - so if your cat has a preference or sensitivity around fish specifically, that's the pouch to check rather than assuming all three are variations on the same base.

Who it's for: adult cats whose owners want to rotate flavours in one box rather than buying three separate ones, and cats that get bored of - or occasionally reject - a single recipe.
