Brushing a dog's teeth is the gold standard and also the thing almost nobody keeps up daily, which is why a powder stirred into food exists at all.

This one combines postbiotics, microalgae and natural seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) with gentle botanicals, aimed at plaque, tartar and the oral microbiome generally. Chlorella and Spirulina are included for antioxidant support toward gum health. It is positioned as a way to care for a dog's teeth without brushing or harsh additives, and is described as suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages.

What we can't tell you. There is no daily dose or scoop size on the card, so we cannot say how much to use for a Chihuahua versus a Labrador. Follow the instructions printed on the tub itself rather than guessing from the ingredient list here.

Who it's for: owners who know brushing is best but are not managing it daily, and want something to sprinkle on food instead.
