A dog that struggles with separation, noise or general reactivity is often not being naughty, and owners who reach for a calming supplement are usually trying to make an already-stressed dog's day a bit easier rather than trying to fix behaviour outright.

Natural Vetcare's Calm & Settle blend combines alpha-Casozepine, Ashwagandha and L-Tryptophan, alongside omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), aimed at supporting a relaxed mood without sedation. It's supplied as a pack of 50.

On what this is not. This is a supplement, not a training programme or a medical treatment, and Natural Vetcare's own description doesn't give a daily dosage or format on the facts available to us — check the pack itself, and speak to a vet first if your dog's anxiety is severe.

Who it's for: owners of a dog dealing with separation anxiety, noise sensitivity or general reactivity, looking for a supplement to try alongside — not instead of — addressing the underlying cause.
