Specifications

Brand: Mr Johnson'S
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

A hedgehog visiting a garden at dusk isn't picky about texture the way a pet might be, which is why a plain crunchy kibble does the job without needing to be dressed up as anything more.

This is Mr Johnson's hedgehog kibble: a crunchy blend built around poultry and rice, sold as a complementary food rather than a complete diet, and packaged to be recyclable.

Poultry and rice-based crunchy kibble
Sold as a complementary food, not a complete diet
Recyclable packaging
2KG pack

what the makers haven't told us. There's no protein, fat or fibre analysis supplied for this one, and no feeding rate — only that it's a crunchy kibble built around poultry and rice. Put it out alongside fresh water, as with any dry hedgehog feed, rather than relying on the bag for portion guidance.

Who it's for: anyone feeding garden hedgehogs who wants a straightforward crunchy kibble in recyclable packaging, without needing the semi-moist texture of some other hedgehog foods.

Why we chose it

It's a plain, no-frills option next to the semi-moist recipes we also stock. Having both textures on the shelf covers hedgehogs — and owners — with different preferences.
