A millet spray does one job in a cage - it gives a bird something to work at, stripping seed off a stalk rather than picking it out of a dish - and that bit of effort is worth more to a bird's day than the seed itself. Buying it loose and in bulk is the practical version of that, rather than the small bagged sprays sold individually.

Bucktons supply this as loose sprays rather than pre-packed bundles, and the makers list it as a complementary or treat item rather than a bird's main diet. Beyond that, the card carries no composition, no protein or fat analysis and no feeding guide specific to this product.

• Loose millet sprays, sold by the sack
• Complementary or treat item, not a complete diet
• Suits cage and aviary birds

On what we do not know. Bucktons publish very little about this particular line beyond describing themselves as an established maker - there is no ingredient breakdown, no analysis and no stated feeding rate, so treat it as an occasional extra rather than something to plan a diet around, and offer it alongside your bird's usual complete food.

Who it's for: owners of cage or aviary birds who want millet sprays in bulk rather than buying small packs repeatedly, as an occasional treat and enrichment item rather than a staple food.
