Full description
A cat that gets the same one or two flavours on rotation can still get bored of both, and a recipe that mixes fish and meat in the same pouch is one way to offer a genuinely different flavour without adding a third product to the cupboard.
Meowing Heads' Supurr Surf & Turf is a 100G pouch that's 93% fish, chicken and beef: fresh sardine and tuna (28%), fresh deboned chicken (25%), fish broth (25%) and fresh deboned beef (15%), with sunflower oil, salmon oil and minerals. It's grain free and sold as a complete food. Protein is 11%, fat 5%, crude fibre 1.5%, crude ash 0.4% and moisture 80%. The maker's feeding guide is 1 pouch a day for a 2kg cat, 1.5 pouches for 3kg, and 2 pouches for 5kg.
- 100G pouch
- 93% fish, chicken and beef (sardine and tuna 28%, beef 15%, plus fish broth and chicken)
- Grain free
- Complete food, for adult cats
- 1-2 pouches a day depending on the cat's weight
What the label leaves out. No calorie figure is given per pouch, so if you're managing weight carefully you'd need to work from the feeding-by-weight guide rather than a kcal count. There's also no guidance on introducing it gradually, unlike some of the other pouches in this range.
Who it's for: owners of adult cats who want a mixed fish-and-meat recipe rather than a single-protein pouch.

Why we chose it
Combining sardine and tuna with chicken and beef in one pouch is a genuinely different flavour profile from a single-meat recipe, which is useful if your cat's gone off plain chicken or plain fish on their own. 93% named fish and meat is also a solid ratio for a pouch this size.
