All four are sold as complete foods rather than something to spoon over dry. The Chicken recipe is built around 50% chicken, cooked with sunflower oil and a little chicken stock, thickened with dried tapioca starch; the Chicken with Mussels recipe carries the same base with 46% chicken and 4% mussels added.

The fourth, Tuna with Salmon, is named on the box but its exact percentages weren't supplied to us, and neither tuna-based recipe carries a published taurine figure, where the two chicken recipes do (886mg/kg). Taurine matters for cats, so if that specific figure decides it for you, check the tin itself when it arrives.

Who it's for: owners feeding more than one cat, or a single cat that gets bored of one flavour fast — the four-recipe split means nobody in the house eats the same thing every night.
