Full description
A pâté named after two ingredients does not have to name the third, larger one, which is exactly the position Lily's Kitchen are in here.
Composition is chicken (37%), pork (23%) and salmon (4%), with minerals making up the rest. It's a complete, grain-free wet food in an 85G foil, protein at 9.5%, fat at 6%, and 88 kcal per 100g.
- Chicken 37%, pork 23%, salmon 4%
- Complete, grain-free
- Crude protein 9.5%, fat 6%, fibre 0.3%, moisture 82%
- 88 kcal/100g
- 85G foil
What the name does not tell you. Pork, at 23%, is not named in the title at all, and salmon — the second name on the label — is the smallest of the three meats at 4%, well behind chicken's 37%. Read "Salmon & Chicken" as a flavour name rather than a ranking of what's actually in the pâté.
Who it's for: owners feeding a complete, grain-free wet pâté who want a smooth texture rather than chunks, and don't mind that pork outweighs both named meats on the label.

Why we chose it
We'd rather point out that pork is the second-largest ingredient here, unnamed on the label, than let 'Salmon & Chicken' imply something the composition list does not back up. It is still a complete, grain-free recipe, which is the part of the label that does hold up.
