Specifications

Brand: King British
Food type: Complete

Full description

Cichlids are carnivorous fish kept in a tank that is usually more crowded and more territorial than a community setup, and food that clouds the water fast makes an already tense tank worse. King British formulate this flake specifically around that: a complete diet built to be highly digestible with low waste, so less of what goes in comes back out to foul the water.

Beyond the "complete diet for all cichlids" description and the low-waste, water-quality claim, no protein, fat or fibre percentage is published for this pack — fish is flagged as the protein source, but the detailed analysis is not supplied.

Complete diet for all cichlids
Fish-based protein source
Formulated to be highly digestible with low waste
Aimed at maintaining water quality
28g pack

On what's not analysed. No protein, fat or fibre percentage is given for this flake, so it cannot be compared numerically against a food that does publish an analysis panel — you are buying on the digestibility and water-quality claim rather than a specification sheet.

Who it's for: cichlid keepers who want a dedicated carnivore flake aimed at keeping tank water cleaner for longer, rather than a generic tropical flake.

King British Cichlid Flake Food

Why we chose it

Cichlid tanks foul faster than most, so a flake specifically formulated for low waste earns its place over a generic tropical mix. It's a small pack, which suits how little flake a cichlid tank actually needs day to day.
