Catfish and plecostomus spend most of their time working the bottom of a tank, and a food that floats at the surface never quite reaches where they actually feed - which is the simple case for a wafer built to sink rather than float.

This is built on herring meal and shrimp meal for protein, with spirulina powder and alfalfa adding a plant component, plus wheat germ and spinach. It's a complete food rather than a supplement, and King British formulate it specifically to sink and settle at the bottom of the tank.
