Specifications

Brand: Johnson's
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

A treat bar sized for a budgie disappears in one sitting on a larger parrot, which is presumably why Johnson's pitch this Bumper Bar as extra large. It is built from selected seeds, nuts and honey, with no further ingredient breakdown given beyond that description.

Beyond the extra-large sizing and the seeds-nuts-honey composition, no protein, fat or fibre percentage is published for this product, and no specific parrot or cage bird species is named as particularly suited to it.

Selected seeds and nuts
Honey included
Extra-large sized treat
175g pack

On the missing breakdown. No individual seed or nut breakdown is given, and no nutritional analysis is published — you are buying on the "extra large" sizing and the honey-and-seed description rather than a specification sheet.

Who it's for: owners of larger parrots and cage birds who want a bigger treat bar to last longer than a standard-sized one, without a specific species restriction named on the pack.

Johnson's Parrot Bumper Bar

Why we chose it

The extra-large sizing is genuinely the point of difference here — a bigger bird gets through a standard treat bar in minutes, and this is built to last longer. It's a simple, honest treat rather than anything dressed up as more than seeds, nuts and honey.
