Full description
Scurf is easy to dismiss as just dry skin until you notice it's actually shedding onto dark furniture in a way ordinary shedding doesn't, which is usually the point owners start looking for something specifically aimed at it rather than a general wash.
This 5 litre trade-size shampoo is built to clear scurf while promoting a healthy coat and skin, and Johnson's describe it as suitable for all breeds. It's part of the same professional range as Johnson's other 5 litre shampoos, but formulated specifically for this job rather than general conditioning.
- 5 litre bottle
- Clears scurf
- Promotes a healthy coat and skin
- Suitable for all breeds
On what "medicated" means here. "Medicated" describes the shampoo's formulation and purpose rather than a specific active ingredient Johnson's name on this listing — if scurf persists, worsens, or comes with hair loss or sore skin underneath, that's worth a vet visit rather than more frequent washing.
Who it's for: owners or groomers dealing with visible scurf who want a shampoo formulated specifically for that, rather than a general conditioning wash.

Why we chose it
It's formulated for scurf specifically rather than general coat conditioning, which matters if that's the actual problem you're washing for. Buying it in 5 litres only makes sense for regular use, which suits a groomer or a household washing often.
