Reptile and amphibian housing gets cleaned less often than most pet bedding, mostly because taking a vivarium apart is more disruptive than shaking out a dog bed — which makes whatever you use on it matter a bit more each time.

This is a trigger spray built to kill bacteria and viruses, for cleaning and disinfecting vivaria and other reptile and amphibian housing. Johnson's also list it for feeding equipment and other hard surfaces around the setup, and specifically note it contains no perfume or colour — a detail that matters more here than on most cleaning products, given how sensitive some reptiles and amphibians are to residues. It comes as a 500ml bottle.

• 500ml trigger spray
• Kills bacteria and viruses
• For vivaria and reptile/amphibian housing
• Also suitable for feeding equipment and hard surfaces
• Contains no perfume or colour

On rinsing. Johnson's don't publish a contact time or a rinse instruction on this listing, and no-perfume doesn't necessarily mean no residue — for anything going straight into a tank with an animal in it, letting the surface dry and giving it a wipe first is the more cautious approach.

Who it's for: reptile and amphibian keepers who want a disinfectant made without added fragrance or colour, for use on vivaria, equipment and surrounding surfaces.
