Specifications

Brand: Johnson's

Full description

A litter tray that just looks clean and one that's actually disinfected are different things — scooping removes the obvious mess, but the tray itself keeps building up bacteria underneath it unless something addresses that directly.

This 500ml trigger spray is built to kill germs, bacteria and viruses, and Johnson's describe regular use as keeping litter trays clean, disinfected and hygienic, leaving a pleasant fresh fragrance. They also recommend it for feeding bowls, pet bedding, floors and carpets.

500ml trigger spray
Kills germs, bacteria and viruses
For litter trays, feeding bowls and pet bedding
Also suitable for floors and carpets
Leaves a fresh fragrance

On rinsing feeding bowls. This is fragranced, so it's worth rinsing feeding bowls thoroughly after use rather than letting residue sit where a cat eats from — Johnson's don't give a specific rinse instruction on this listing, so treat it as good general practice.

Who it's for: cat owners wanting one disinfectant that covers the litter tray, feeding bowls, bedding and the surrounding floor.

Johnson's Clean 'N' Safe Litter Tray

Why we chose it

Covering the litter tray specifically, not just general surfaces, is the detail that makes this more useful than an all-purpose disinfectant for cat owners. It also stretches to feeding bowls and bedding, so it's genuinely multi-purpose around the house.
