Specifications

Brand: Johnson's
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

A treat built partly from egg gives a bird a protein source it wouldn't get from seed alone, which is worth knowing if you're choosing a treat as more than just a novelty snack.

These are biscuits made with whole egg, cereals and wild berries, sold in a pack of 5, and described by Johnson's as suitable for all types of birds.

5 biscuits per pack
Made with whole egg, cereals and wild berries
Egg is a named protein source
Complementary treat, not a complete food

What's missing. There's no weight per biscuit or overall nutritional breakdown supplied for this product, so we can't tell you the protein or fat percentage, only that egg and wild berries are both named ingredients.

Who it's for: owners of cage or aviary birds who want an egg-based treat with some fruit content, rather than a plain seed treat.

Johnson's Bird Fruity Biscuits

Why we chose it

Egg as a named protein source is a genuine point of difference from most seed-and-honey treats on the shelf. Wild berries alongside it makes for a treat with two distinct ingredients named, rather than one vague blend.
