Full description
Jelly and gravy are not just texture preferences. Some cats will eat one and leave the other, and there is rarely any way to know which until you have already bought both.
This pouch is the jelly version of this brand's turkey-and-salmon pairing, badged as Salmon on the front. The composition tells a different story: turkey at 36%, necks, liver, heart and deboned ground turkey, against salmon at 4%. It is grain free, with protein at 8.5% and moisture at 84.0%.
- Composition: turkey (36%), salmon (4%)
- Protein 8.5%, fat 4.5%, crude ash 1.9%, crude fibre 0.40%, moisture 84.0%
- Grain free, served in jelly
- Sold under the name "Salmon in Jelly"
- 12 pouches, 85g each
On the name, again. Salmon sits at 4% of the composition against turkey at 36%, so despite the name this is a turkey pouch first. It is the same story as this brand's Salmon in Gravy pouch, the name leads with the smaller ingredient both times.
Who it's for: owners whose cat prefers jelly over gravy and is happy with turkey as the main protein, rather than anyone specifically feeding for a salmon-heavy diet.

Why we chose it
We stock both the jelly and gravy versions because plenty of cats have a strong preference and there is no way to guess which in advance. The composition is close in spirit to the gravy version, so the choice really comes down to texture.
