Cats evolved to get most of their water from prey rather than a bowl, so a food that already carries plenty of moisture is doing some of the drinking for them before they ever reach the water bowl.

This is Iams' Land & Sea recipe in gravy, an 85g pouch that's complete on its own rather than a topper for dry food. It's built on meat and animal derivatives (42% of the recipe, of which 14% is named as chicken and 12% as turkey), with the rest made up of vegetable derivatives and minerals. Because it's wet food, the analysis panel reads very differently to a dry kibble: protein comes out at 9.2%, fat at 4.8%, crude ash 1.4% and crude fibre 0.4%, against a moisture content of 79.3%. Iams add taurine, plus vitamin D3 and vitamin E, at the point of manufacture.
