Specifications

Brand: Henry Bell
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

Mealworms are one of the few garden bird foods that double as a genuine protein boost rather than just extra calories, which is why they're worth stocking on their own rather than only mixed into a seed blend.

Henry Bell's Mealworm Ready To Use Feeder comes filled with 65g of dried mealworm, in the same grey, easy-opening feeder used across their Ready to Use range.

Sold ready-filled with 65g of dried mealworm
Grey feeder body
Easy-opening lid, described as simple to clean
A pure mealworm fill, not a mixed blend

On the pack. Henry Bell confirm the 65g fill weight and the feeder's lid design, and nothing further on a refill size or the feeder's own material once that first fill runs out.

Who it's for: gardens wanting a dedicated protein feed, particularly useful in spring when nesting birds need it most.

Henry Bell Mealworm Ready to Use Feeder

Why we chose it

Dried mealworm on its own, rather than mixed into a blend, means it doesn't get picked out and wasted by birds who ignore the rest of the mix. Selling it ready-filled makes it an easy first buy.
