Full description

Small animals interact with a chew toy differently depending on what they're built to do with their paws and teeth - a mouse or hamster will chew and roll it, while a rabbit is just as likely to pick it up by the edge and fling it across the cage.

This is a wooden rattler toy, approximately 9cm in size, built to be chewed and moved around a cage, and intended to help wear a small animal's teeth down evenly through natural gnawing.

Why we chose it

Wooden toys are genuinely useful for a small animal's teeth in a way plastic toys aren't, since gnawing on wood does the actual job of wearing teeth down. It's also flexible enough in how it gets used - some animals chew it, others just enjoy throwing it about.
