Full description

A bird in an open cage has nowhere to properly settle for the night, and a nest that just sits loose in the bottom of the cage tends to get knocked around. Happy Pet's Cozzzy Hut Nest solves both by clipping directly to the bars.

It's made from thick, fleecy material, hung using two sturdy metal clasps that slot securely between the cage bars, giving a bird a snug, draft-protected retreat. Happy Pet pitch it at medium to large birds, including cockatiels and conures, and it's machine washable when it needs a clean.

Suited to medium to large birds, including cockatiels and conures

One thing worth knowing. No exact dimensions are given for this nest, only that it suits medium to large birds — if you're fitting it to a specific cage or a smaller bird, we can't confirm it'll be the right size from what's supplied.

Who it's for: owners of a cockatiel, conure, or similarly sized bird who want a snug, enclosed retreat clipped to the cage rather than an open perch.

Happy Pet Cozzzy Hut Nest

Why we chose it

The metal clasps are the detail that makes this worth having over a loose fabric hut. A nest that stays clipped to the bars rather than sliding around is the whole point of buying one in the first place.
