A pot labelled for its named fish is not always telling you how much of that fish is actually inside, and salmon is one of the flavour names most often used on packaging in far smaller quantities than the front of the pack implies.

This is a 4-pack of 57g pots from Gourmet's Revelations range, served in a transparent jelly. The ingredient list is short: meat and animal derivatives, fish and fish derivatives with salmon specifically at 4% of the total, various sugars and minerals.

• 4 x 57G pots
• Salmon 4% of the total recipe
• Moisture 83%, protein 9%, fat content 3%, crude ash 2.6%, crude fibre 0.05%
• Complete food for adult cats
• Feeding guide: 3 pots plus 25g of dry kibble a day, for an average 4kg cat

On the name. Salmon is named on the front and is genuinely present, but at 4% of the total recipe it's a minor ingredient rather than the main one — the bulk of the pot is unnamed meat and animal derivatives.

Who it's for: owners of an adult cat who like the format and jelly texture of this range and are comfortable that the named fish is a flavour note rather than the main ingredient.
