A multipack of small pouches suits a cat that eats little and often better than a single large tin does, since each pouch is one sitting rather than a part-used tin going back in the fridge between meals.

GOURMET Perle's Mini Fillets in Gravy pouches combine ocean fish and tuna in one recipe and plaice and shrimp in another, both featuring meat and animal derivatives alongside vegetable protein extracts and named fish and shellfish — ocean fish and tuna each at 4%, and plaice and shrimp likewise at 4%. Across the pouches, moisture is 80.0%, protein 13.0%, fat content 2.5%, crude ash 2.5% and crude fibre 0.05%.

• 60-pack of 85g pouches
• Ocean fish and tuna, and plaice and shrimp varieties
• Moisture 80.0%, protein 13.0%, fat content 2.5%
• No added colourants, artificial flavourings or artificial preservatives, per GOURMET
• Feeding guide: 3-4 pouches daily for an average 4kg adult cat

What the label does not say. The named fish and shellfish content is a modest 4% in each named ingredient — the bulk of the recipe is listed as "meat and animal derivatives" and "fish and fish derivatives" without a specific percentage attached, so the exact overall fish content beyond those named figures is not stated.

Who it's for: owners of a cat that eats little and often, wanting a fish-based wet pouch in small, single-sitting portions across a 60-pouch case.
