A cat that turns its nose up at the same flavour every day is a familiar enough problem that a "collection" pack — several recipes in one box rather than one recipe forty times over — is really just meeting the cat halfway rather than the owner having to buy separate boxes.

Gourmet's Delighters Collection includes chicken, salmon and lamb recipes in gravy, each built the same way as their single-flavour equivalents: the named meat is a minority share of a wider "meat and animal derivatives" declaration — chicken at 6% within a 17% block, salmon at 4% within its own 17% block, and lamb at 4% within a 16% block.

• Complete food for adult cats
• Three named recipes: chicken, salmon and lamb, in gravy
• Protein 13.0%, fat 2.5%, crude fibre 0.05%, crude ash 2.5%, moisture 80.0%
• 40 pouches per box
• Feeding guide is written for an average 4kg adult cat

On the naming. As with the single-flavour versions in this range, the named meat in each recipe — chicken, salmon, lamb — is a minority share of a wider meat or fish derivatives declaration rather than the bulk of the pouch; Gourmet set this out on the label rather than hiding it, but it's easy to miss.

Who it's for: owners of an adult cat that gets bored of one flavour, wanting variety across a single 40-pouch box rather than three separate boxes of single recipes.
