A cat that turns its nose up at last night's dinner is not necessarily being difficult — it is doing what a wild cat would do, treating a repeated meal with a bit of suspicion. A selection box sidesteps the problem rather than solving it: four recipes under one lid, so a run of refused bowls doesn't mean an empty one.

The four recipes here — beef, chicken, duck and turkey — are all built the same way: shredded meat and animal derivatives, cooked and served in a gravy as a complete wet meal rather than a topper. FELIX's own label names the headline meat at 4% of each pouch; the remainder of that recipe's 18% "meat and animal derivatives" is not broken down by species.

• 12 pouches per box, 80g each
• Four recipes: beef, chicken, duck, turkey, all in gravy
• Complete wet food for adult cats
• Moisture 78%, protein 13.5%, fat content 2.6%, crude ash 2.6%
• FELIX's guide: 3 to 4 pouches a day for an average 4kg adult cat, in at least two meals

On the naming. Each recipe's named meat — beef, chicken, duck or turkey — is 4% of the pouch. The rest of that recipe's 18% "meat and animal derivatives" is not identified further on the label FELIX supply, so if you need to know precisely what makes up the balance, this pack will not tell you more than that.

Who it's for: a cat that gets bored of one flavour fast, or a multi-cat household where nobody agrees on a favourite — one box covers four preferences instead of four separate purchases.
