Full description
Offal gets left off a lot of pet food labels even when it is in the bowl, so a range that names liver and kidney alongside the more familiar meats is at least being upfront about what a "countryside" recipe traditionally includes.
The four recipes here — chicken and kidney, turkey and liver, lamb and chicken, beef and poultry — each pair two ingredients at 2% apiece, served in jelly and portioned for cats aged 7 and over.
- 12 pouches per box, 85g each
- Four paired recipes: chicken & kidney, turkey & liver, lamb & chicken, beef & poultry
- For senior cats aged 7 and over
- Moisture 80%, protein 12%, fat content 3%
- FELIX's guide: 3 pouches a day for an average 4kg senior cat
On the naming. Each named ingredient in a pairing is 2% of the recipe, 4% combined — so "turkey and liver" is 2% turkey and 2% liver, not a turkey-led recipe with a garnish of liver. The rest of the "meat and animal derivatives" is not identified by species.
Who it's for: an older cat used to a countryside-style range, and an owner who does not mind their cat's food including offal alongside more familiar meats.

Why we chose it
Naming liver and kidney honestly, rather than folding them into a generic meat description, is the kind of detail worth having ready for anyone who asks exactly what "countryside" means on the label. It is also a genuinely different flavour set from FELIX's plainer senior ranges.
