A lightweight feeder dish that tips over mid-feed is a bigger problem in a live-food set-up than a normal bowl, spilling insects or food across the substrate rather than just the floor.

This is a food-grade resin dish with a natural rock-finish exterior that blends into any terrarium type, and a smooth, non-porous, non-toxic interior that resists bacteria build-up and is easy to clean. Built-in safety steps let a small animal climb back out if it falls in.

What the label does not say. Exo Terra don't publish the dish's capacity or dimensions on this listing, only that it comes in more than one size - measure your terrarium's feeding area before choosing between Medium and Large rather than guessing from the name alone.

Who it's for: reptile, amphibian or invertebrate keepers who want a feeding dish that looks natural in the terrarium rather than a plain plastic bowl, and won't easily tip.
