One correction. Some listings for this item describe a freestanding cactus-shaped scratching post; that is a different product. This is a corner-mounted groomer with a catnip ball and teaser, and it is not a scratching post, so it will not save your sofa from claws. You still need a proper scratching post as well. Not all cats respond to catnip, and kittens under about six months generally do not.
