Full description
A pate texture works for cats who'd rather not pick through chunks, and a single pouch is the right size to test whether that's actually the case for yours before buying a box.
This pouch is built around chicken at 55%, including chicken breast specifically at 14%, with tapioca starch, yeast extract, sunflower oil, minerals, chicory extract and yucca extract, mixed into a light jelly pate. Cookhouse describe it as 100% complete and balanced for adult cats, carrying protein at 9%, fat content at 5%, crude fibre at 0.1%, crude ash at 1% and moisture at 84%, at 83 kcal per 100g.

On the chicken breakdown. The headline chicken figure is 55%, but only 14% of that is specifically chicken breast - the rest is chicken more broadly, which is a real distinction if you're comparing this against a recipe that names chicken breast as the whole meat content.
Who it's for: owners trying a pate texture for the first time, or buying single pouches rather than committing to a multipack.

Why we chose it
Pate is a genuinely different texture to chunks, and it's worth stocking single pouches so a customer can find out which their cat prefers before buying six or twelve at once. The chicken breast breakdown is a detail worth having on the page for anyone who reads compositions closely.
