Multipacks earn their keep on busy weeks, when opening a fresh pouch every mealtime is one less thing to plan around compared with portioning a big tray or tin.

Each pouch in this six-pack is built around chicken breast at 59%, sunflower oil, tapioca starch, minerals and tomato paste, mixed in a light jelly. Cookhouse describe the range as complete and balanced for adult cats, and the box may also include a Chicken Breast with Beef Fillets recipe, made with chicken breast at 52% and beef at 6%. The chicken-only pouch comes in at protein 12%, fat content 3.5%, crude fibre 0.1%, crude ash 1% and moisture 82.5%, at 83 kcal per 100g.

• Six 70G pouches per pack
• Chicken breast 59% in the chicken recipe
• Protein 12%, fat content 3.5%, crude fibre 0.1%, crude ash 1%, moisture 82.5%
• 83 kcal per 100g
• Described as 100% complete and balanced for adult cats
• Suitable for all breeds of adult cat

On the recipe mix. Cookhouse's own copy for this range names two recipes - chicken breast, and chicken breast with beef - so a six-pack may not be six identical pouches; check what's inside if your cat is fussy about flavour or you're avoiding a particular meat.

Who it's for: owners of adult cats who want a complete wet food in a grab-and-open pouch format rather than a tray or tin, and don't mind a mixed flavour box.
