Specifications

Brand: Classic

Full description

A tank's colour palette usually comes from plants and fish alone, so a single bright ornament can do more visual work than it has any right to for the price.

This is a polyresin starfish ornament, hand-made and hand-painted with non-toxic paints, suited to a coral or undersea-themed tank.

Polyresin construction
Hand-made and hand-painted with non-toxic paints
Comes in blue, green or orange
Overall size approximately 95mm long x 95mm wide x 25mm high
Suits a coral or undersea aquascape

On the colour: this is described as coming in blue, green or orange, but the listing doesn't say whether you can choose which colour you receive or whether it's assigned - we'd treat it as assorted unless told otherwise.

Who it's for: aquarists building a coral or undersea-themed tank who want a bright, deliberately artificial-looking piece rather than a natural rock formation.

Why we chose it

A starfish shape reads instantly, which is more than can be said for most abstract aquarium decor, and the non-toxic paint is the detail that actually matters once it's underwater. It's also genuinely small enough to sit flat on the substrate rather than fight for space with plants.
