Specifications

Brand: Classic

Full description

An aquarium without a single ornament in it reads as unfinished the moment anyone looks past the fish, and a themed piece does more work per pound than plain gravel ever will.

This is one of Classic's hand-made, hand-painted polyresin ornaments, using non-toxic paints, and it is built as a fun 'No Fishing' seahorse sign rather than a plain decoration. Classic say the range comes in three colour variants and has been refined for more than 20 years, and the overall size is approximately 87mm long, 53mm wide and 96mm high.

On colour. The card we hold gives the range as having 3 colour variants overall, but not which one arrives with this listing — if a specific colour matters to your setup, check the product photos before ordering.

Who it's for: anyone building a fun, brightly themed aquascape rather than a naturalistic one, and especially a tank a child helps choose the decorations for.

Why we chose it

It is the kind of ornament that gives a tank a bit of personality without costing much, and the non-toxic paint means it is not a compromise for the fish sharing the water with it. A seahorse sign like this earns its keep as a talking point more than as scenery.
