A fish bowl or small tank can look bare with nothing but gravel in it, and a decorative ornament is often what makes a first tank feel finished rather than half set up.

This is a polyresin mushroom ornament, hand made and hand painted with non-toxic paints, featuring a friendly frog on the mushroom itself. Classic make it in three colours - orange, blue and purple - at an overall size of approximately 70 x 55 x 70mm, aimed at smaller tanks and fish bowls.

On tank size. This is specifically aimed at smaller tanks and bowls rather than a large aquascape - at roughly 7cm across, it would look lost as a centrepiece in a bigger tank, so treat it as a small-tank feature piece rather than a statement ornament.

Who it's for: younger aquarists and anyone setting up a smaller tank or bowl who wants a bit of colour and character rather than plain gravel.
