A tank built entirely from live rock and real coral is a serious, expensive undertaking, which is exactly the gap a resin ornament fills for anyone wanting the reef look without the reef-keeping commitment.

Classic's Coral on Rocks ornaments are hand crafted and hand painted in polyresin, using non-toxic paint, with detailed coral and seaweed texture. The soft, realistic seaweed strands are designed to move with the water column for added movement in the tank, and each piece measures roughly L85 x W80 x H70mm. They come in assorted colours — red, purple, green or yellow.

On the assortment. Colours are assorted rather than selectable, so you cannot choose red over purple at checkout — if a specific colour matters for matching a scene, that is worth knowing before ordering.

Who it's for: aquarium keepers building a reef-style scene who want realistic-looking coral detail and colour without live coral, and who also want a hiding spot the shape creates for smaller fish.
