Specifications

Brand: Classic

Full description

An empty-looking tank isn't just less attractive, it also gives fish nowhere to retreat to, which is the practical argument for ornaments alongside the decorative one.

Classic's Coral Garden is a polyresin ornament, hand crafted and hand painted with non-toxic paint, depicting purple coral alongside plants and seaweed. Measuring 31.5cm, its soft, ferny seaweed sections are designed to move with the water's current for added movement in the tank. It weighs 1.25kg.

One thing worth knowing. Classic don't give a minimum tank size for this ornament on the facts we hold, and at 31.5cm and 1.25kg it's a substantial piece — measure your tank's actual floor space before ordering rather than assuming 'large' fits any setup.

Who it's for: aquarium keepers wanting a single large, detailed centrepiece ornament rather than several smaller pieces.

Why we chose it

Hand painting is a genuine point of difference from a moulded, single-colour ornament at a similar price — the detail is what makes it look like coral rather than a plastic shape. At 31.5cm it's substantial enough to work as a tank's main feature rather than getting lost among gravel and plants.
