Full description

A working breed photographed doing very little tends to look slightly wrong, which is presumably why Border Collie calendars lean so heavily on movement shots rather than posed portraits.

This is a Border Collie Traditional Calendar, a square wall calendar at 30 x 30cm printed with photographs of the breed. It hangs the same way as any wall calendar — the only thing that sets it apart from a generic dog calendar is that every photograph on it is of one breed rather than a mixed selection.

What's not on the card. We haven't been told which year or months this calendar covers, whether UK bank holidays are marked, or how many photographs are inside — the maker's information stops at the size and the breed on the cover, so check the listing photos for a closer look at a sample page if that detail matters to you before buying.

Who it's for: Border Collie owners, or anyone buying a calendar as a gift for one, who wants breed-specific photography on the wall rather than a generic dog calendar or a mixed-breed one.

Why we chose it

It's a small, low-cost item that suits a specific audience precisely — Border Collie owners tend to want their own breed on the wall rather than a mixed-breed calendar. It's an easy add to a gift order rather than a purchase on its own.
