Full description
Variety packs work best when a cat’s favourites can be identified instead of hidden behind a selection label.
Applaws Variety Selection in Broth is a 12pk of 70G cans with four declared recipes. Tuna Fillet and Chicken Breast each contain 75% of the named meat or fish plus broth and rice. Ocean Fish combines mackerel 45% with tuna fillet 30%, while Chicken Breast with Cheese has chicken breast 70% and cheese 5%. Protein is 16% in tuna and plain chicken, 17% in ocean fish and 15% in chicken with cheese. Crude fat is 1% or 2%, depending on recipe. Energy ranges from 58 to 66.7 kcal/can. This is complementary wet food.
- Pack format: 12pk 70G
- Food status: Complementary
- Tuna Fillet: tuna fillet 75%
- Ocean Fish: mackerel 45%, tuna fillet 30%
- Chicken Breast with Cheese: cheese 5%
The selection crosses meat and fish. It will not suit a shopper looking for one protein source. Feed up to 2 cans daily depending on cat size, offer fresh drinking water and serve at room temperature; no age suitability is supplied.
Who it's for: cats whose owners want a mixed chicken-and-fish broth selection rather than a single-recipe case.

Why we chose it
The assortment gives a useful spread across chicken, tuna, mackerel and cheese recipes. Listing the actual percentages makes the mix easier to judge than the words ‘variety selection’ alone.
