Seaweed is easy to miss beside tuna on a cat food label, so its declared share is the useful detail here. Applaws lists it at 5% in the 70g recipe rather than leaving it as an unexplained flavour word.

The 70g can is complementary wet food for adult cats, made with tuna fillet 70%, fish broth, seaweed 5% and rice. The analysis is protein 16%, crude fat 1%, crude fibre 0.1%, crude ash 1% and moisture 80%. Energy is 828 kcal/kg and 58 kcal/can, and no additives are declared. This family also includes a larger can, but the full ingredient, analysis and feeding information we have covers the 70g can only.

Before choosing a can. The larger can is the same tuna with seaweed product, but we don't have its full label data, so the 70g figures should not be assumed for every size. Applaws' guidance for the 70g can is up to 2 cans a day depending on the cat's size, fed with complete dry food, served at room temperature and with fresh water available.

Who it's for: adult cat owners choosing a complementary fish-based wet food who want the tuna and seaweed proportions clear, and the 70g detail kept separate from the larger can.
