Full description
Jelly and broth are two different textures for the same fish, and which one a cat prefers is often a matter of trial rather than something you can predict.
This pouch is 60% tuna fillet, set in a jelly made with rice flour and a vegetable gelling agent. Applaws class it as complementary, meant to sit alongside a complete diet.

What isn't on this card. This pouch's card doesn't give us a life stage or minimum age - species is confirmed as cat, but nothing narrows it further to adult, senior or kitten. If you're feeding a very young kitten, that's worth checking with a vet rather than assuming this is suitable.
Who it's for: Owners wanting a single tuna pouch in jelly rather than broth, fed alongside a complete diet rather than as the whole of it.

Why we chose it
Offering tuna in jelly rather than only in broth gives owners an actual choice of texture, which matters more than it sounds when a cat has already decided which one it prefers. It's sold single rather than in a multipack, so it's an easy way to find out which texture wins before buying a case.
