A cat that gets the same wet food every day sometimes decides, without warning, that it no longer likes it, and a 24-pack split across four fish recipes is a hedge against that particular kind of Tuesday.

The pack covers four recipes: Tuna Fillet at 75% tuna, Ocean Fish at 45% mackerel and 30% tuna, Tuna Fillet with Prawn at 55% tuna and 20% prawn, and Mackerel with Sardine at 50% mackerel and 25% sardine. Each is built on fish broth and rice rather than a thickened gravy, and Applaws class the range as a complementary food meant to sit alongside their dry food.

• 24 pouches across 4 fish recipes, 70G each
• Tuna Fillet 75% tuna; Ocean Fish 45% mackerel, 30% tuna
• Tuna Fillet with Prawn 55% tuna, 20% prawn; Mackerel with Sardine 50% mackerel, 25% sardine
• Protein ranges from 14% (Tuna Fillet with Prawn) to 17% (Ocean Fish)
• Suitable for cats of all breeds and sizes over 3 months
• Complementary food

One thing worth knowing. Applaws' own feeding line on this pack talks about cans rather than pouches, which is almost certainly boilerplate carried over from a different pack in their range rather than a statement about what's in the box - feed it as you would any pouch, by the portion rather than the can count. The makers don't tell us how the 24 pouches split between the four recipes.

Who it's for: Owners feeding wet food daily who want variety built into the box, and anyone whose cat has gone off a single flavour and needs a rotation rather than a replacement.
