Full description
A cat's skin is more sensitive to harsh ingredients than a dog's, which is why a genuinely mild, gentle formula matters more here than it does on most of the dog shampoo shelf.
This is a mild, gentle, 100% vegan cat shampoo built around aloe vera extract to soothe and protect the skin, with pro-vitamin B5 added to nourish the coat, in an easy-rinse formula. Animology's instruction is to lather from the neck down, avoiding the eyes and ears, and leave for 5 minutes before rinsing.
- 125ML bottle
- 100% vegan formula
- Aloe vera extract
- Pro-vitamin B5
- Easy-rinse formula
- Peach fragrance
One thing worth knowing. This is a mild, general grooming shampoo rather than a medicated one — it isn't formulated for fleas, ticks or a specific skin condition, so a cat with an actual skin problem needs a targeted product, not this one.
Who it's for: owners wanting a gentle, vegan everyday shampoo for a healthy cat's regular grooming, rather than a medicated treatment shampoo.

Why we chose it
Aloe vera and pro-vitamin B5 in a genuinely vegan formula is a mild combination that suits a cat's more sensitive skin, rather than a shampoo built for dogs and sold across both. The peach scent is a small, pleasant detail rather than an overpowering fragrance.
