Full description

Letting a rabbit or guinea pig outside without something to hold onto isn't really an option once you've seen how fast either can move across open grass — a chase across a lawn ends badly far more often than a supervised few minutes on a lead does.

This set pairs a sturdy polyester harness, adjustable up to a maximum girth of 40cm, with a matching 120cm polka-dot lead fitted with a trigger hook for easy attachment and removal. The harness and lead are sold as one set rather than separate purchases, so there's nothing extra to source before the first outing.

Maximum girth 40cm
Sturdy polyester construction
Adjustable for a secure fit
Includes a matching 120cm lead
Trigger hook fastening for easy removal
Sold as a matched harness and lead set

On sizing. 40cm is the maximum girth this harness adjusts to, and the makers don't give a minimum, so there's no lower bound to check a smaller animal against before you order — measure round the widest part of the body first if you're at all unsure.

Who it's for: owners of a rabbit or guinea pig who want supervised time outside on a lead rather than free-roaming in an open garden.

Ancol Rabbit Harness Set Blue

Why we chose it

A lead is included in the set, so there's nothing extra to buy before you can actually take your pet outside. That's worth more than it sounds in a category where the harness and lead are often sold separately.
